What is this?

A set of unfinished balancing changes that will be reiterated until completion. Hence draft.
It's not done, I can't discuss changes I'm not confident in, and some will be pruned at the end for when it's time for release (maybe next month at minimum, can be more.). #balancing - please don't judge early, I need to refine and feel what the changes should be, and I may just say "it's not yet done / I need to see for myself / still iterating/brainstorming / etc."

Why the draft?

I need something to reference quickly when needed, and hopefully as something that could motivate me as this is a large undertaking, that will affect almost every single turret and unit in some capacity. Also, in the case when the plan fails, there are some changes that may be ready to go and should be merged at least.

It's a high chance of failure... as...

  • Map Impact: This may screw up with campaign maps, will need reevaluation before release
  • Many weak points: due to the changes all intermingled and potentially dependent, if one fails, a lot of damage can occur.

What changes?

There are many, will need documentation and explanation, and then discussion.

The ones that are already in the pr (to name a few):

  • Reactivity Nerfs: Autofill and Lancer/Arc
  • Armor Multiplier for Armor Weakness, Armor Piercing, and Anti-Armor
  • Scorch being viable for PvP lol
  • Ground vs Air Alleviations
  • Inter-Ammo Balancing
  • and more...

(Not finished... there are some things I've missed/haven't done yet... so if you see an issue... I may be thinking/working on it)

There are some ideas that are in circulation and needs to be finished at some point...

  • Hail and Ripple being made more positional.
  • Naval being balanceable. (If the idea works, it works!)
  • Pyra/Blast Ammo Rework/Changes
  • Swarmer/Cyclone Tech Appropriation

Well, still in the mind/brainstorming stage and won't be elaborated but showcases how ambitious the project is....

I hope this survives somewhat, there are so many things I want to do and be seen that would fix the game's mechanical issues.
This may become the biggest pr I'll ever make... It just takes time.

Misc.

Activation Timer commit may brick your savefile if you downgrade... I have no clue how to not let that happen, or if there is a better way to implement it...

Thank you for your efforts.

Made it back into 0.5 reload again, it felt awful to play with 0.25 even if it had  good performance

Development of PR will be on Hold (Need to take a break)

If the other rebalance project is merged, I'll deal with it...
