Here’s an additional technical update following the previous one. In it, we’ve fixed bugs and kept working on the app stability.
How to install AdGuard Mini beta
2.0.0 beta
It’s a major update and a rebranding of our previous AdGuard for Safari — AdGuard Mini for Mac. We recently tested it via TestFlight, and now it’s time for a standalone public beta that anyone can try.
We’d love your help: install the beta and tell us what you think. Share feedback on GitHub, by email at [email protected], or via the Support section in the app. Note: the beta works on macOS 12 or later only.
We reworked the interface and core engine, and introduced Pro features along with in-app licensing. What to focus on:
Interface and navigation: Explore the redesigned screens, settings, and quick toggles, and report any layout or usability issues you notice.
Core ad blocking and privacy: Check that ads, trackers, and search ads in Safari are blocked correctly, and make sure custom filters and user rules work as expected.
Pro features: Try the AdGuard Extra userscript for complex cases and real-time filter updates, and make sure enabling and disabling them works smoothly.
In-app purchases: Test purchasing, restoring, upgrading, and canceling to ensure all flows run correctly.
Performance and stability: Watch speed, memory usage, and battery impact across different macOS versions, and report any problems.
Known limitations:
• Some localizations are not fully complete yet.
• Minor UI polishing is still in progress.

How to install AdGuard Mini beta
1.11.24
AdGuard for Safari v1.11.24 is out! This is good news. The not-so-good news is that we will have to cease support for macOS 11 and older operating systems after this update.
AdGuard for Safari v1.11.24 will remain functional on macOS 11 and prior versions, but no further updates will be available. In the near future our app will be replaced by a significantly reworked and renamed version for macOS 12 and above. This could be a valid reason to update to a newer OS and get access to an excellent ad-blocking tool. Stay tuned for more information!

We fixed a bug reported by users: too much information was used in non-verbose logs. We have sorted this out and now regular logs will remain just that - regular. Also, this version of AdGuard for Safari blocks ads more effectively thanks to newly updated filters.
