Activation patching on a Time Series Transformer (3 layers, 8 heads) to find which attention heads matter — then proving most "important" heads are actually false positives. Full statistical validation pipeline: bootstrap resampling (10K iterations), Benjamini-Hochberg FDR correction, Cohen's d effect sizes, and stability testing under Gaussian noise, time warp, and phase shift perturbations. Part of the BlueDot Impact AI Safety Fundamentals program.

Tracing-driven performance analysis for ROS 2 manipulation stacks. Measuring how CPU contention and DDS message flooding degrade a simulated Panda 7-DOF robot arm using LTTng kernel-level tracing, FlameGraph CPU profiling, and cgroups v2 cpuset isolation. Key finding: 0% execution success at 4000 msg/s DDS flood, while CPU load alone had no degradation effect. Deployed on CloudLab with a 10-phase automated bootstrap.
