I think those tests must be updated to support manufacturer namespace and fix a few issues. For example it is not possible to require manufacturer capabilities to be in the NMOS parameter registers. Also the verification for capabilities to be used with the appropriate format assumes that it knows all the capabilities ... for example urn:x-nmos:cap:format:profile is defined as a video capability ... which is not 100% true as someday when supporting AAC audio it will also be an audio capability. I think the tests must not assume having knowledge of that kind of information. test_08 should not consider constraint set that are disabled as it would be invalid to put the media_type of such constraint set in media_types.
