Set up automatic Hetzner Rancher configuration backup #274

@stephanosio

Description

@stephanosio

In the Hetzner infrastructure, Rancher Server currently runs inside a K3s Kubernetes cluster on the deploy1 node, coordinating the ci-main Kubernetes cluster deployment and operations.

Although the Hetzner infrastructure currently does not store any critical persistent data and can be re-deployed from scratch without any data loss, it is desirable to create backups for the cluster deployment and management data in the deploy1 node so that the re-deployment process is less costly in case of a total deploy1 node failure.

Note that this is contingent on a total deploy1 node failure (i.e. in spite of the RAID mirror and periodic snapshots).
