Turn off new git features

Is there a way to completely turn off the new git features(commit, stage, restore, etc)?

I will never ever use them, as I already have a git workflow outside of zed, and don't want to keep seeing/accidentally clicking on the buttons, having hunks highlighted, etc.

Also interested in this, loving zed, but always accidentally clicking into this mode.
