Synch develop branch with master to be compatible with CMake 4.0

Hi,

The compatibility with CMake 4.0 has been solved in master.

Would be possible to have the develop branch (and maybe others) synch with master to get CMake 4.0 compatibility there also ?

I tried to create a PR for it, but I got hit by a "Pull request creation failed. Validation failed: must be a collaborator".
