There is already a fork support edge but it has not been update for a long time, and it was not support the latest edge browser.

This library, by name, is focused on Chrome. It might be best to improve the Edge specific fork, but I don't personally have the capacity for that. I don't think we should expand the purpose of this project at this time, but I'd be willing to listen to compelling arguments for doing so.
