Technical analysis not working on some stocks

I've just been playing with jstock and have noticed some stocks have technical analysis working but others do not. E.g., VOO and VAS.AX work fine, but SCL.NZ does not. Is there any reason for this - surely the moving averages should at least work for every stock where there is price data?
