ToyBox on Mac with Apple silicon causes Rogue Trader's main menu unable to interact

Description of the bug

After installing ToyBox on my Mac with Apple silicon, I am unable to interact with anything on the main menu of Rogue Trader. The problem can only be solved if the game is opened using Rosetta, but this causes performance loss.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Install ToyBox on Mac
2. Launch game

Expected Behavior

The game launches successfully, but is unable to interact with.

I'm pretty sure it's the old issue:

ToyBox (and other Unity mods in general) depend on HarmonyLib to do runtime method patching. HarmonyLib depends on MonoMod. And MonoMod has the following open issue: MonoMod/MonoMod#90

Regarding the performance loss...
What seems to cause the biggest issue seems to be SSR.
If I use Ultra settings but turn off SSR it doensn't have the same jerkiness in cutscenes, nothing else helps.

Trying to work out better ways to deal with mods in Mac still unfortunately, but I got ToyBox installed which is the main thing!

For what it's worth; MonoMod did get a Pull Request which adds preliminary support for MacOS arm64.
This PR still needs to be approved and released. At the same time it only states support for .NET6+ (though I'd hope it gets expanded to Unity Mono or just works there).
And even if it gets released and everything works; the updated MonoMod version still needs to be bundled with Harmony (which I don't know if they will directly do a new release since they're in the process of writing Harmony 3)
And, here comes the fun part, after that we'll need to convince Owlcat to ship the updated Harmony version.

So a large first step I guess?

To test it, download Harmony-Fat.2.3.7.0-prerelease.zip. Open the downloaded zip and grab the 0Harmony.dll located in net48 to replace the one in the game files (0Harmony.dll in Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader\WH40KRT_Data\Managed)

MonoMod officially merged the ARM64 support in 1.3.0, and with that Harmony officially supports Apple Silicon with version https://github.com/pardeike/Harmony/releases/tag/v2.4.0.0

It's the game that ships this library, though; so either users have to keep manually installing the updated Harmony like currently; or Owlcat decides to switch to that new version of the Harmony library in a future game update. I will mention this to a CM/Dev in a while; but I can't say whether there'll be any results

Hiya thanks so much for posting this solution, unfortunately I can't seem to find a net48 or a 0Harmony.dll in the prerelease zip file you posted (but I do seem to have one from installing unitymodmanager on Pathfinder), nor can I find a "WH40KRT_Data" in the steam folder you mentioned, I can only see the RogueTrader app icon. What am I missing? Would so appreciate your help!

For some reason I didn't get a notification for this message. You can open the Rogue Trader app icon as a folder; which is what the path ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader/WH40KRT.app/Contents/Resources/Data/Managed describes.

Also I suggest getting the latest release of Harmony https://github.com/pardeike/Harmony/releases/tag/v2.4.1.0

Download Harmony-Fat.2.4.1.0.zip, and use the 0Harmony.dll located in the net48 folder to replace the one at the previously described path
