Change `New subscription` dropdown to use the product description instead of the product name

"I would like to propose to change the dropdown items of the New subscription dropdown to use the Product descriptions instead of the Product Name. At SURF we have a lot of product names named with the network version (SN8/SURFnet8) as substring, while we will be using these products also in our next generation network. The Product Names cannot be changed easily, therefore we would like to change this to the Product description. See screenshot.

The Product description can be changed in the UI on the metadata page (since UI version 3.4.0 and core version 2.10). In this way you can quickly adjust the product presentation in the frontend.
