Gledopto GLC-008 Controller is not able to connect to Home Wifi after update

What happened?

I updated my device from 15.0 to 15.1, which worked at first, but today it would not turn no matter what. After a reset with the power button, which made the ap appear I tried to connect it to my wifi, which again did not work. So I updated to the newest nightly [Nightly Release 20250905] version, which should fix wifi problems with ESP8266. This did not help either.

To Reproduce Bug

Update from 15 to 15.1 was the root cause

The controller should connect to the wifi

you can try the "compat" bin which was made for users having wifi issues or try 0.14.4.

The Installation of the compat Version fails with an access denied error on my mobile. Any Ideas why it fails?

14.4 is sadly not an Option because the Strips are WS2805

since you want to find out why, try 14.4 anyway. if that does not fix your issue either, it is not wled but your network, see #4912 (comment)
