In Linux Light mode does not write files

Describe the bug

This is the the log

As you can see There is an error

and the error is "File exists"

To reproduce

Go to light mode and ask anything. It does not do anything.
It does output the change as text to the screen like json but then you see the "Error " message with every single request.

Change to GPT or Claude and it works well, it is just the light mode

Expected behavior

Change files accordingly

What log are you seeing that message in:

So perhaps this is related, the view during GPT and Claude looked like this

But the view in Lite-version looks like this :

I understand that lite version is less capable but this view is awful

So here is where the problem starts :
..it calls edit_files

Then it goes on on rambling: " I did " ....

So to answer your question, I can see that right in the conversation that is been written in the screen .

Just to clarify, it works on windows. Not in Linux.

The entire conversation. I can see git log and not a single file gets changed under Lite version.
It was working under GPT /Claude changed to Lite and got shitty output and not a single change.

The thing is that it kept saying "I implemented, I changed, I edited,...." on and on

and it did not touch a single file

Was this happening in an SSH session, by any chance? That is one place where we cannot handle file editing tool calls, but it should error instead of failing silently.

No, in a regular Terminal Session. Like I wrote it, using GPT and Clause it worked. Changed to Lite, it no longer worked. All tabs. I reinstalled. I changed to older version. I updated to newer versions. It is still broken.

Works in Windows. Does not work in Linux. NO SSH sesssion. Perhaps all your developers use only Windows.
