Here are the possible improvements I considered personally:
- Make it easier to compare the reports done for different Wagtail versions. Either with "diff" styles, or side-by-side review. Right now you can do this by going to the right commit in GitHub but that makes for a rough experience.
- Provide a user-friendly, accessible highlight of changes compared to the last report. I’ve not found a good format for that so kept it to a minimum.
- Add screenshots? For some of the issues I think illustrations could help a bit, but I’ve not found a good workflow for that. They also risk making the report much longer.
- More systematic links to our backlog? This would be helpful in particular to keep reports updated over time, or to check what the status of a given issue is for Wagtail versions we don’t release ACRs for.
