Backup completion status.

Hi,

We don't have a way to confirm if the backup is actually completed or not,I know I can have a exit status check which would let me know about the command successfully completing but it would be great if I can confirm that the actual backup of that particular component is taken and ensured messaged would appear from the tool itself

components name and its status as follows.
componentX - complete
componentY - failed
componentZ - complete

I discussed this in gitter chat and John Calabrese suggested to raise ticket on github.
