Will there be a dedicated client mobile app for users that want to use the gateway as cloud alternative?

I think the webui should work on mobile. Is there some specific functionality you are looking for on mobile beyond the web browser interface?

I mean, I plan to use this as a gateway to my "NAS" (just a rusty computer that I use as one) at home, and if things work properly I plan to implement it as a "personal cloud storage" for some users on my company and I thought it would be great to have one simple app for users to easily access.

Also, the project is very usefull, I use it as a S3 AWS to POSIX to my main SMB server and integrate a lot of things, such as forms and Intranet services on my work.

Is using the WebGUI from mobile sufficient? Or were you wanting some other functionality not available with the web interface? if you want an app icon, maybe something like this is good enough with the webgui? https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/open-as-web-app-iphea86e5236/ios

Hm.. Not quite. I'm using a WebApp on my android phone to use it as a personal cloud storage, but one of my clients was asking for a full compatible native web of their own company (I mean, I'm just a web developer). I tried to put in a hold for some time, but it seems he just want his own "cloud storage with access control" to his users.

Therefore, I would like to ask if there is a specific documentation which I can read to make one (I will open license it anyway).

The strategy that the WebGUI uses is that the accesskey/secretkey credentials are just stored locally on login, and then all requests to the admin and s3 APIs are signed by the client and sent directly to the service endpoint. That way no credentials are ever sent over the network.
