code changes in ui package not updating in dev server app: turborepo-react-native

Summary

I used the turborepo-react-native boilerplate and everything is working well https://vercel.com/templates/react/turborepo-react-native. However, when I make a code change to the packages/ui package I am not seeing the change reflected in the app running on the dev server. What is missing for this to work?
