Firefox keeps asking to become default - I have no other brower (Bluefin GTS)

Describe the bug

On Bluefin GTS, each time I open Firefox it asks me to make it the default browser.
But Firefox IS my default browser. I did not install it myself and I never installed any other browser.

How to debug/fix this?

What did you expect to happen?

Firefox should never ask to become default browser, since by default, it is the default browser.

Can't reproduce this, can you share the output of:

xdg-settings get default-web-browser

xdg-mime query default x-scheme-handler/http

I believe it only happens after a reboot - something I NEVER do, until I come up with the thought that there might be updates (still biggest weakness of Bluefin, that a user isn't informed about this).

I rebooted, ran the commands again, same output as above.
Then I started Firefox, didn't get the Firefox popup to set as default browser.

Maybe this only happens after Firefox is updated. No idea..
But for now I cannot reproduce it either.
