Describe the bug

Problems since the last update for widescreen users: "21.9 2560x1080 no longer available. When I change the version, it says after a while after rebooting that it will do the update, and I'm back here at 16x9.

I then found the version change on Reddit. I'm still new to Linux, but I'm excited about Bazzite :3

What did you expect to happen?

During the last update, I noticed that my screen no longer accepts the resolution, and yesterday I was asked to update

I have a very similar issue. I use 2 widescreen monitors and my 2560x1440 monitor has a max resolution of 1920x1080 since the last update. My 3440x1440 main monitor is fine.

I can reproduce this easily by swapping between versions.
Version: 43.20251102 (2025-11-03T05:08:04Z) --> no issue
Version: 43.20251114 (2025-11-14T07:21:12Z) --> second monitor has max resolution of 1920x1080
Version: 43.20251118 (2025-11-18T18:24:20Z) --> same issue still

My "fix" is to pin the version that works and I disabled automatic updates for the first time.

Some more info:

• I use nvidia-open:stable
• KDE

@Hirschiix3 You could try to rollback to a previous version with the command rpm-ostree rollback then rebooting.

I believe it is related to this in my case #3493

My main monitor is 3440x1440 and no issue, my secondary 2560x1440 van only do 1080p though

Yep I also have this problem. I believe it may have something to do with the Open Nvidia Drivers. I was recently on another distro that gave me the same issue. Unfortunately it might be a bit of a waiting game with Nvidia being "generous" enough to recognize the issue and fix it.
