Describe the package

The UGREEN BT 5.4 USB adapter (VID:PID 33fa:0010) is not working on Linux. The kernel detects it as BCM20702A1, but fails to load firmware because the expected .hcd file is missing in linux-firmware.

Steps tried:

"Installed latest linux-firmware (version 20250708-1.fc42.noarch)."

Checked /lib/firmware/brcm/, no matching .hcd file exists.

Pretty sure this is a general Linux issue, not a bazzite issue. This Adapter is currently simply not supported.

Yeah, I know but it seemed to me, like it's not something of high priority.
And I can just wait 'till it gets supported eventually.
So I didn't want to waste people's who work on Linux's kernel time and just report it here, on Bazzite's GitHub support page.

(I also never reported anything to Linux directly before, so maybe someone else can, now that we know this is a legit problem, not some unpopular accessory.
Treat it as a check if the device I just didn't bought, wasn't some unpopular device, that basically runs on some unknown firmware, and there is no point in even supporting it. This is the kind of vibe I got, when I figured out it isn't working out of the box, on my Bazzite system.)
