Browsing with JavaScript disabled: is there a feature that allows me to run only the Anubis and Cloudflare challenges?

I browse with JavaScript disabled, but sometimes I have to enable it to complete the challenges, even though the site works fine without it (most of websites are SSR heavy).

Is there a feature that lets me keep JavaScript disabled globally and allow only the JavaScript necessary to run the challenges?

I've tried things like @@||challenges.cloudflare.com^$script,3p, but it doesn't work, I still have to enable it.

I'm experimenting with this:

* * inline-script block
* * 1p-script block
* * 3p-script block
* * 3p-frame block
* challenges.cloudflare.com * allow
* turnstile.cloudflare.com * allow

Is there any difference between disabling JavaScript globally and these rules? Maybe I'm misremembering, but does the global option completely disable the interpreter?

Don't use allow. Just use noop so static filters won't be overridden.

no-scripting mode will try to apply the noscript tag (if website implements it) so it could appear less broken than just blocking the scripts.

If the site seems to be broken it's really not a problem; I was more concerned about security and privacy.

No, per documentation:

When JavaScript is disabled through this master switch, noscript tags will be (tentatively) honored on a page (as opposed to when just using filters/rules to block script resources). The activation of noscript tags is done through a workaround, and there might be cases where it's not possible for uBO to mimick perfectly activated noscript tags.

JS Master switch has precedence over dynamic filtering. The only difference other than that, when you disable all scripts by dynamic filtering, is whether to respect noscript tag or not. Obviously, dynamic filtering gives much more granular control than the switch.
