Imported filters fail if added before user scripts are allowed

• The issue is not present after disabling uBO Lite in the browser.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

• uBO Lite is the only extension.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

If a user imports a filter list then enables "Allow User Scripts" afterwards, the imported filter list will not work.

A specific URL where the issue occurs.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In Edge's extension settings, have "Allow User Scripts" disabled for uBO Lite.
2. Add imported filter list https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Stevoisiak/Stevos-AI-Blocklist/refs/heads/main/GenAI-Blocklist.txt
3. Enable "Allow User Scripts"
4. Go to google.com

Issue can also be reproduced by toggling "Allow User Scripts" off and on again.

Expected behavior

Imported filter list hides AI items on the page.

Actual behavior

Imported filter list does not work, AI items are not hidden. Can be fixed by deleting and re-adding the custom filter.

There is no event fired by the browser to inform that the "Allow User Scripts" permission has been toggled.

Does disabling and enabling the extension back work after toggling the userScripts on, like it does with custom filters sandbox on chromium?

Yes, disabling and re-enabling the extension makes imported filters work again on Edge.

Edit: Toggling the extension off sometimes works, but the results seem inconsistent.

Maybe we should add a mention about restarting the browser or retoggling uBOL at the end of what is currently there? Something like:

Lists/filters added before toggling the permission might not work until extension restart.

Actually there is an event fired in Firefox, not in Chromium, so arguably a browser issue.
