generate custom-prefixed headers

hi!

currently in the process of packaging zlib-rs for Debian, and based on feedback we got in an email discussion[0] I'd like to package libz-rs-sys-cdylib with a custom prefix. I can build that prefixed variant just fine, but there seems to be no way to generate a matching header file (or two, if we'd want to enable the gz feature as well?) that includes those prefixes. am I missing something, or is there no support for that (yet?)?

zlib-rs and libz-rs-sys are already on its way to unstable, so this is not a blocker for anything atm.

I think there are two automated options here

• https://github.com/mozilla/cbindgen
• https://github.com/lu-zero/cargo-c

In either case you'd loose documentation and macros in the official .h file. So, I think the more practical option is some string search/replace based on our list of public functions https://docs.rs/libz-rs-sys/latest/libz_rs_sys/#functions.

I guess that should work, yes. there's actually a few more that are not in the docs (the "undocumented" ones listed in zlib.h).
