I'm trying to support SAML for a custom IdP and encountering a signature validation error. After spending some time debugging, I noticed that if I remove this line the signature validation passes. I noticed that other SAML libraries like this one don't remove the signature node.

Would that be safe to do? Why does samlify remove the signature node?
