Error while using proxy

I am a speedrun from mainland China, because of GFW, I have to use software such clash to access resources. But error occurs:

I can look into this more in a couple weeks, but just from experience a lot of ssl certificate issues can be fixed by just updating java to a modern distribution and version like java 17+, as opposed to using the java 8u51 that comes with the vanilla launcher or some old oracle version you may have installed from years ago. in javacord we typically recommend adoptium 21 (https://adoptium.net/) but you can use whatever you have access to as long as it's still updated. obviously this issue is different from a simple let's encrypt certificate missing but if you are launching with java 8, it's still worth trying a newer version before anything else.
