No updates to apps in over 30 days -- don't bother

If you are thinking of updating an app, just don't. It has been over 30 days since they have merged an update and their Stale Bot is just autoclosing PRs at 30 days.

It seems there is no longer any intention of updating the platform. Time to start looking at the community options available to keep this thing running.

@tmsteen I can't speak to what Tidbyt is or isn't doing. Sucks that they shut down the product with basically no notice. But if you reopen your PR for the METAR app, I can try to approve it. Not sure if that it will get it anywhere though.

@avalys I opened a new PR (cannot reopen old one) if you want to give it a try. I will be attempting a Tronbyt build soon to overcome this obstacle.

@tmsteen you obviously haven't been following the Discord server for updates.

We can't approve new apps because the deployment pipeline is broken due to an expired certificate.
It started happening on september, check this build for an example.

Me and @drudge only have access to approve PRs, we don't have any access to the underlying infrastructure to try and fix this stuff.
We tried contacting the Tidbyt owners (@rohansingh and @matslina) numerous times about this problem and we didn't have any success.

At this point there's really not much we can do about it. 😦

@danielsitnik appreciate the update. Any way to turn off the auto-closing of stale PRs until/if this is resolved?

I've extended it to 120 days for now.
