Correct relationship between the components of Thanos

Hi everyone, I'm quite new to the world of monitoring so please forgive my ignorance.
I'm currently trying to understand the correct sizing and correlation between resources, my question is:
Is there a direct correlation between the number of queries, queryFrontend and storegateway?
I know they don't need to have a 1:1 ratio but I was wondering if there was a better practice on the "ratio" between them and if there was a way for me to figure out whether to have more or less of one of these components.
