Wikifunctions

Wikifunctions has been deployed to over 100 Wiktionary wikis. So far only one tr edition page Feder supported by wiktextract uses this new feature. Implement Wikifunctions could be quite challenging not only because it has Python and JavaScript(perhaps more languages in the future) code but also integrates Wikidata.

I am reasonably sure we're never going to support this completely. We could implement some functions manually, if they end up being very popular.

Because the function call syntax, with a weird anonymous ID, is annoying to use, I'd expect #function to be actually used inside templates more than in article bodies (like the example above shows), which hopefully would make it easier to see when a function needs to be implemented.

In the best case scenario [for us], this turns out to be a dud.

I think even implement a function manually might be hard. Some composition functions like Z28604 used in page "Feder" are complex af, and we still can't get around wikidata.

We could call a API to get expanded result if they are only used in a few pages but impractical for many pages.
