[Bug]: Hamburger button not functionable in the iPad dimensions

Bug Description

When one tries to click on the Hamburger button in the top-right corner using an iPad Air (820 x 1180) or iPad mini (768 x 1024) or many more, the button malfunctions by turning into a cross button, but does not open the side-bar, and the page gets stuck.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to https://www.sugarlabs.org/
2. Right-click and go to Inspect
3. Change the dimensions to iPad Air or iPad Mini, or Surface Pro 7
4. Click on the top-right Hamburger button
5. Observe how there is no menu shown, which was expected.
