Hi! I’m Walid SASSI, Lead iOS Developer and open-source enthusiast.

I’ve been working in the iOS ecosystem for over a decade, with a strong focus on architecture, performance, and clean code. I’m also the author and maintainer of SparkDI — a lightweight dependency injection framework for Swift that brings actor-based safety, modular assembly, and cycle detection through graph traversal.

SparkDI was born out of a desire to create a modern, performant DI system tailored for Swift apps, while staying simple and transparent for developers. It supports key features like:
• Actor-safe dependency resolution
• Graph-based detection of cyclic dependencies (DFS)
• Scoped injections and modularized assembly
• Support for testing and scalability in large codebases

I regularly share my learnings through the Swift Academy Podcast and international conferences like Swift Heroes, where I speak about dependency injection, architecture, and clean design patterns.
