Battlesnake is the ultimate side project for experienced developers.

We believe that, while there are many ways to learn to program, there are very few ways to master it. We built Battlesnake to encourage self-directed learning at a high level and make programming fun to share with friends, colleagues, and family.

Battlesnake is operated by a small team of core contributors in their spare time. We aim to be as open source as possible, while still protecting the integrity of competitive gameplay.
