# Overview We are looking to provide an internal revamp of the provider, addressing some long standing technical debt, and providing more technical usage examples. ## Objectives - Minimal changes in behaviour - Any required changes due to the release will be documented, and have migration examples. - Defined min. support for Terraform and *OpenTofu* - Including additional data sources - Improved import support ## Steps In order to provide the smoothest upgrade path, the anticipated changes will be made in (these may be subject to change): - *10.0.x*: Upgrade underlying plugin framework - This is to help improve the error reporting, graceful handling of removed resources, and localised validation. - *10.1.x*: Move existing resources to adopt the new framework - This will adopt the feature gates framework - *10.2.x*: Promoting the new framework and adding additional components. - There is some existing features coming up so stay tuned :eyes: ## Getting help As we embark on making these changes, we want to hear our community and understand the issues they are experiencing. We ask you provide details about: - Terraform version - Provider version - Provider configuration - Minimal required configuration to recreate the issue.
