iOS’s Share Extension

This is by far the best file transfer app I’ve ever used. I really hope the developer can add support for iOS’s Share Extension as soon as possible. If this feature lands, the app will be absolutely flawless—I can’t even imagine how powerful it’ll become!

Hi, thank you for the kind words, glad you've found it useful! I have looked into adding a Share Extension but it's tricky because Apple doesn't let you launch the full app from a share menu. They only let you pop up a separate type of screen to perform a single action, which doesn't really fit with how Flying Carpet's UI works.

It may be doable by having that share screen copy the files to a temp directory within Flying Carpet, then creating a notification for the user that links to the app and a message to prompt them to start the transfer with the pre-selected files... but that's kind of an unpleasant flow. I'll keep thinking about it.
