Element Call: Creator user must not appear in content.users

Hi,
I installed element call via the playbook:

matrix_element_call_enabled: true
matrix_synapse_allow_guest_access: true

When I want to create a room via call.element.mydomain.com I get the error message:

Creator user @user:mydomain.com must not appear in content.users

If I change the request to not include the user, the room gets created. I can see it in element web, but not in call.element.mydomain.com.

Same happens if I want to create a video room via element web.

I checked it on call.element.io and there the user is not included in the content.users.

When I write a link like https://call.element.mydomain.com/room/#/pabnix?roomId=!4u3yPA5FBZyqPpvtPanTIRlaIFANlxBNjiw0IAjhtks (because element call didn't give me one), and a guest wants to join, this error appears:

MatrixError: [403] Registration has been disabled

This error was resolved by downgrading the rooms to v11:

matrix_synapse_default_room_version: "11"

But then the next error with the registration hits.

For now I have enabled registration with email verification:

matrix_synapse_enable_registration: true
matrix_synapse_registrations_require_3pid: [ "mail" ]

But I tought that matrix_synapse_allow_guest_access: true should handle this? Also the users are now not listed as guests.

Any insights in this would be great.
