counters are broken on the latest master image.

Counters are empty.
admin@ixre-egl-board27:$ sudo show queue counters
admin@ixre-egl-board27:$ sudo show queue counters -n asic0 Ethernet
admin@ixre-egl-board1:~$ show priority-group persistent-watermark headroom
Object map is empty!

This was caused by PR #sonic-net/sonic-swss#3759

Steps to Reproduce

Try these with the latest master image:
admin@ixre-egl-board27:$ sudo show queue counters
admin@ixre-egl-board27:$ sudo show queue counters -n asic0 Ethernet
admin@ixre-egl-board1:~$ show priority-group persistent-watermark headroom

Actual Behavior and Expected Behavior

Actual:
Counters are empty

Expected:
Counters should return actual values.

The sonic-net/sonic-swss#3759 introduced the High Frequency Telemetry feature and seems the Counters are polled only if the feature is supported.
BCM DNX SAI doesn't support sai_query_stats_st_capability and also https://github.com/sonic-net/sonic-sairedis/pull/1629/files needs to be reverted in sonic-sairedis, to support his feature.

We still see this issue on Arista platform, is the following issue caused by the same PR?

I briefly debugged and realized that BCM DNX SAI doesnot support SAI_INGRESS_PRIORITY_GROUP_STAT_XOFF_ROOM_WATERMARK_BYTES and hence the this stat is not updated in the COUNTER_DB. So the "show priority-group persistent-watermark headroom" command shows N/A in our Nokia chassis with the latest master.
