White page in Chromium and Brave browsers after RDP connect

Hello all,

I've stumbled across an unexpected behaviour when using Chromium or Brave browsers. After launching the RDP connection to a target system (LMDE), there's just a white screen showing, instead of the RDP content of the virtual desktop.

The RDP connection works correctly/as expected in Firefox and Chrome.

Is this a bug? Or are only Firefox and Chrome officially supported?

firefox and chrome are all we have really tested with. I will see what I can rig up to test this out some more.

Thank you. And even if something just doesn't work with them, maybe just add a section "Supported Browsers" in the README or so.

I think you are using h264 enabled xrdp correct? This is probably the root cause of the problem.

... interesting. I tried to reproduce this on my machine (Linux Mint 22.3) with Brave 1.93.138 and I don't see this white/empty page.
