Design.pdf is meant to document 3 important things at once:

• the "ideal" VDisp design, and its UML Diagram
• the actual VDisp design implementation, and its UML Diagram
• the Julia problems/limitations that lead to this change

Here is a checklist that tracks how much is done:

• Document "ideal" design
• Document actual design
• Document Julia limitations

Good issue so that we don't forget this point. As far as priorities between the remaining tasks, I am most interested in the last item: "Document Julia limitations".
