Error: chainId address mismatch

hi everyone, i am using js and solidity and gnache for smart contract deployment but keep getting Error: chainId address mismatch
can anyone help me plz, i did search but problem on stack exchange and stack overflow but did not find related problem similar to mine

I ran into the same problem and found this stack overflow post: [The transaction declared chain ID 5777, but the connected node is on 1337].

I followed the article and it solved my problem, but to sum it up:

1. Go to settings > server in Ganache and change "NETWORK ID" to 1337. I also changed HOSTNAME from 127.0.0.1 to 0.0.0.0, just to match the tutorial, but this may not be necessary.
2. Click "SAVE AND RESTART" at the top right of the server settings page. Note that this will end up changing the private keys for your accounts.
3. Back in your code, change chainId in the transaction data to 1337 and re-enter the private key from an account in Ganache.

Hopefully this fixes your problem.

This solved my issue, but had to leave the HOSTNAME as "172.27.144.1 - vEthernet (WSL)" not "0.0.0.0 - All Interfaces" in order to prevent the following error:

So I've changed to 1337 but the private keys do not update and I get the same error as I had previously.

1: go to ganache settings - server
2: change network ID to 1337
3: click save & restart ( this should reset your ether amount to 100 and change your private key)
4: copy new private key and paste in your code
5: re-run code and voila!!

In theory it should work, no? Also confused what may be causing the 31337 that Pat mentioned some other people faced.

if you you are using Windows,
use 1337n as a chainId or to be on safe side use following code block to get chain ID and use that in your transaction:

im using linux and the same happened to me change network and chain id. why? but it did not change my private and public key and i didnt no recompiled with solc. maybe have something to do with the network and the first error try? idk.
