add task to current note

This is nice but I would like to add a task to the current note, if possible

I 2nd this. I use the buttons plugin to create a task but I have several notes for different task lists. Right now I have to create a new button for each list. If this plugin could create the task directly to the open note, I would only need one button for every list.

Use the Meta Bind plugin; it's an upgrade to the Buttons plugin. Alternatively, you can use the 'Tasks: Create or edit task' command. Not sure why, but when I use it, it creates a task directly in the current note
