Description
Raised in comment #1918 (comment) when we implemented support for (stretchable) no-break space U+00A0:
In French, we remove spaces (that is, regular space U+0020 and NBSP U+00A0) from the input around certain punctuation signs, to later enforce correct French punctuation spacing.
Some French people might however possibly think they are doing good typography by directly using U+202F (NNBSP) or U+2009 (thin space) in their input documents.
Should we remove them too in theses places and let our French punctuation support logic apply?
Personally, I am unsure this extra edge case is worth the effort, but we can track it here for the record.
