Extension update backport policy

What's the policy on backporting extension version updates? v1.11.5 was released on November 6th and has Tailscale v1.88.1 which was released on September 12th. It "could" have v1.90.6.

Yes, it's under best effort, it should get updated in between

What I mean is that for updates, extra is apparently the same level as core. The tailscale ext does get regular updates, just not backports. Or are you saying just backports are best effort?

Yes backports would be best effort, but will try to update when possible.
