Current Behavior

Session has not been able to connect to the loki network for several weeks now.

Path indicator in orange on application launch, and then turns red and when you click on it for info, the leading circle spins interminably. Disabling the Adguard Pro VPN changes the path indicator from red to orange briefly, then it goes back to red.

Troubleshooting steps tried:
Deleted both Adguard Pro and Orchid VPN profiles. No change.

To compare, I installed Session 2.8.0 on an iPhone running iOS 15.8.3, Adguard Pro, and using same Lightning Ethernet adapter and home network connection with router level VPN. Works no problem, even with Adguard Pro VPN enabled.

Issue must be specific to the iPad. Interestingly I am still getting Session message notifications on the iPad, I just can't read any of them.

Expected Behavior

Path indicator should turn green within a minute of launching the Session indicator.

Steps To Reproduce

Environment:
iPadOS 15.8.3
Session 2.8.0
Adguard Pro VPN
Lightning Ethernet adapter wired connection
Router level VPN

Launch Session app. Observe path indicator either stay white or orange for several seconds, then turn and stay red.

No message populate and no contacts are visible.

Nope, just installed Session straight from the iTunes Appstore.

I used the share function to send the log to a saved message in Delta Chat app. The device is also managed by Apple Mobile Device Management, so perhaps either of those caused the modified log name.

Hello, I have the same issue. Messages are not being sent, and the "path" section shows an infinite loading spinner.
iPhone 13, iOS 18.2.
The desktop version with the same internet provider and VPN services works perfectly.
I can register a new user through the app and create conversations, but sending and receiving messages doesn't work.

Appstore version don't work too.
