Swatches
I know #1698 exists, but I don't think five bright colours and five skintones will do. It won't be as good as the 2.0 version many have been asking for. Of course this new palette warrants smaller swatches (2.0 size or just a bit larger), but that's fine. Red is based on the stop sign, the rest are based on the blocks.

More models
Adding more picker models helps users choose colours they need.
I think the wheel could be really fun to use, especially if it came with a tutorial.
This one creates new colours by blending.
Recent colours
Possibly integrated with swatches, it would be really nice to have the ability to view your 10 or so last used colours.
Variable opacity
A separate opacity slider would be useful for creating interesting patterns.
Input for standard format
This way, users can choose to use another colour picker or save their favourite colours for later.
More gradients
Linear gradient mode should have an angle input as well as the ability to add more colours.
