Contactis Group is a little bundle of amazing, interrelated tech companies doing some really exciting stuff in the field of human-human and human-machine communication. We’re currently working on products such as:
- Ratel - https://ratel.io/ - an intelligent, omnichannel, context-driven B2C communication platform (including our own multichannel, AI-empowered messaging app!)
- Lekta - https://lekta.ai/ - a Natural Language Processing Framework for dialogue interfaces (AI-based stuff, like virtual assistants, bots, voice control, voice-user interfaces, and more),
- AnyMind - http://anymind.com/ - a pay-per-minute knowledge-sharing marketplace that works in video, voice and text channels.
At the moment we're looking for an experienced Scala Developer to join our Krakow-based team - maybe this is something for you?
As a Scala Developer you will be mainly responsible for:
working on a scalable communication platform written in Scala, Akka
working closely with the frontend developers
You’re the right person for this position if you:
- demonstrate good knowledge of Scala, Akka
- have deep understanding of PostgreSQL
- are experienced in creating developer friendly RESTful APIs
- are interested in building scalable solutions that work!
- make use of good practices, write clean and well-tested code
- are actually passionate about the work you’re doing
- feel like others could learn a lot from you and you’re willing to learn from the others
We’d be delighted if you also have:
- experience in creating highly available microservice architectures
- played with functional languages before (Erlang, Lisp/Clojure, Haskell)
- worked with NoSQL databases
