trigger camera with usb ?

thank you for your work and shares to make this tiny camera more useful.
I own a IOs one and unfortunately no iphone :(
Do you think an option would be possible to trigger the camera directly for the usb plug eg shorting some pins ? or maybe from eg an arduino based wifi devices Woudl be even better with a liveview feed ??
( Afai understood, only the IOs is wifi enabled as the android app has not been made for wifi ?? )

Hi!
I didn't find a wired way to trigger the shutter of the DxO ONE. I doubt that any such method (like shorting pins) was implemented.
Indeed I couldn't get the WiFi connection to work via the Android app yet. I didn't have time to look into it further, I would like to try a working connection first (via the USB-C variant of the camera) to understand if te feature is still working on recent Android versions and what behavior is expected from the device to work.

But overall, the Wi-Fi connection of the camera works, it's just that the Android App cannot complete the process of enabling it. Wi-Fi can also be enabled via an autoexec script to have the device connect to an access point and await an app to connect via JSON-RPC.
Upon connection, the camera expects to receive an access token (which in normal operation is shared via USB when switching to Wi-Fi connection in the App).
As of now, I just have no app (or script) to do that connection and talk with the camera, and so far I had no time to look into this...

If you're skilled in this area (app-development or i.e. python scripting, JSON-RPC) and interested to dive into this, the built-in logging function of the camera can provide some decent information on the actual commands that are being sent/received...

I can confirm that connecting the DXO1 to android device is OK with USB C to micro Usb cable, and after using the ad hoc autoexec. However the loss of wireless connection makes this option very limitating (I'm mostly using DXO for remote triggering.
(I also tried to modify autoexec to check wether both connections could be used together, unsuccessfully :( )
....and unfortunately I don't have the skills to dive into this. Maybe if the winter is too long, I will try, however this seems really complicated for me :( and would probably need more long winters !!
