Currently you have to manually make a duplicate .str2 file, unpack it, change the .tga string in the cpu file, rename the files in the .str2, edit streams.xml, add a new entry to the asm_pc file by copy pasting the entry for the .str2 you made a duplicate of, repack everything into the .vpp_pc, make a project in Nanoforge and replace the newly added texture with the texture you want, package the mod and then repack into the vpp_pc to add new textures. Very tedious and should be automated.
