Symbols and Font properties are not preserved for X/Y axis and chart area when switching layout chart type #63464

What is the bug or the crash?

  1. In a print layout, add a chart item (let's say a bar chart)
  2. Add and configure a series
  3. Press "Modify chart properties"
  4. Adjust chart ranges values
  5. Under X axis and Y axis groups, modify whatever you can
  6. Leave the plot properties panel and select another Line chart type.
  7. When refreshed, and if you look at its properties, you'll notice that the values in Chart ranges and intervals in X and Y axis groups are kept, but most of the adjustments you may have done to labels fonts, grid lines, chart area are all reset to default.

I think they should be saved and reapplied when you turn the chart type to one that uses these properties.
