Medusa on (not working after OS upgrade to) Ubuntu 24.10 LTS with Python3 3.12.xx

python3[18364]: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'distutils'
systemd[1]: medusa.service: Main process exited, code=exited,

python3 --version: 3.12.3

background: 'distutils' was deprecated in Python3 3.10 , so

Workaround/fix from Ubuntu command line run:

sudo apt install python3-setuptools

Update to the latest version.
