'.' dot to repeat keybinding in VI mode

Not sure if this is already implemented but I frequently use dot to save keystrokes. I love ptpython and it'd be even more perfect if I could get dot in VI mode working.

There is this pull request, which would implement that, but so far I did not yet had time to review or merge it: prompt-toolkit/python-prompt-toolkit#405

I would like to merge this as part of the 2.0 branch.
