Dynamically Timeline Update

I used this in my project and need to update the timeline by event listener(onclick). can you add this or i'm missing something to read(props)

I want to say that
I need to create a custom button so that i can navigate the timeline item same as when we click the control buttons as below:

Just want to change the timeline items from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 and so on . is there any feature for example like props ==> activeItem={2}

this is not possible at the moment without the inbuilt control, but i am going to add this in the next minor release
